Need a good recipe to impress?
I'm having a few more ppl and I'm not a very experienced cook. I need something that is tasty very easy to cook and the ingredients are at my disposal. I live in the south and I want to do something pretty traditional, not too far from the wall. Any ideas? No crustaceans b / c I'm allergic. I really thought a pan or something in the mud preference beef or chicken. Very informal meeting. I'm not a good roast grilled.
I am always impressed with a simple meal of beef steak tomatoes with mint sauce: Marinate the steak with balsamic vinegar for a couple of hours before dinner. Salt and pepper and fry for 6-7 minutes on high heat in a skillet. In a food processor, combine tomatoes, a bunch of mint leaves, a few vinagerette tablespoons balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, onion, and pulse. If you do not have a food processor, just cut into small pieces and mix. When Network meat is done, simply cut against the grain, place on individual plates and spoon sauce on top. Very good and easy!
