Cream of Mushroom Soup – Pasta Sauce Recipe?
I have a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup. I would like to make a kinda white pasta sauce with it for like Primavera. Here’s what I’m trying to do: Fresh vegetables like Carrots, Bell Peppers, Onions, Garlic, Celery mixed in with Fettucini noodles and I have a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup to make into a sort of Pasta Primavera Sauce. I have milk, butter, garlic and most seasonings.
Can someone help me transform this can of Cream of Mushroom Soup into a sorta White sauce for Primavera?

You have the milk, butter, garlic …. I would prefer to use evaporated milk, heavy cream, or half & half; but milk is fine. You definitely need some cheese, even cream cheese can work. Cook the above in a sauce pan and thicken with cornstarch or flour/water mixture … and there you have your white sauce. Add all your veggies and save the cream of mushroom soup for another dish.
