20 months old does not eat meat?

My son is 20 months and will not eat most meats. Really the only meat you eat fish (With a bit of tartar sauce) meat tortellini. I offered him everything we cook, but he refuses to eat. He will try very happy, but I think a texture thing him. Anywho, I really started struggling with what to give him food that is not grilled cheese, or scrambled eggs (or pasta for that matter) for meals. I want the food to be healthy and the boycott of canned meat proteins. Has anyone else experienced a small child who refuses meat? Will it fade over time? Someone has you want to share some recipes? meal ideas) or a snack are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Mine is like that too! Generally not demanding (Or I should say not) eat until both have settled in terrible, but it was never big on meat, and is now worse than ever. I still offer the variety of sound. One day likes broccoli, the next she hates. The boycotts some food in general. The first thing is to know that children often start to eat less at that age. They were so fast, before it needs tons of energy. Now that is stabilizing, decreased appetite. In addition, most of us eat too much protein. The Children are always in tune with the needs of your body, so that naturally go for what they lack. Do you eat cheese? Drink Milk? Eating peanut butter? Broccoli? Eggs? These are good sources of protein. For us, it is also the texture somewhat. She likes meat is ground, such as sausages / Tortellini like yours. It also loooovvveess ham. If I made him want to eat the flesh of others, it helps if they are served with a sauce or chopped into small pieces and mixed with something else (for example, if you want the rice and meat, then put the meat on rice). pasta sauce is a good place to hide ground beef. Chicken soup also peices. Etc. One of my stuff when I feel it is really a lack of protein, are the soft tofu or soy desserts. They are like pudding, you can get the vanilla / chocolate / candy unrefrigerated fruit flavors in the refrigerated milk section. She loves them and they are full of protein! One last thing, although I know she do not like meat, which continue to apply a rule a bite. Therefore, you must have at least one bite of everything on your plate, includeing the meat before it rises.
